layout 4: faith
With the release of Hyde's album, Faith, I decided I needed to make a layout from one of the latest magazine shoots he appeared in. For this layout, even picking the picture was hard -__-;; I really had no idea what to do with it. With Hyde's colorful fashion sense (haha not XD), I figured I would have to do a black background and white text. A bit boring, right? Eventually I decided to go with skin shades o_O Olive color? Whatever you want to call it. The picture is from a shoot Hyde did on the streets or in an alleyway or something. Really hott XD His hairstyle is the best this way, too. And he looks so heavenly and angelic. Although his ear looks somewhat large o_O I guess it's from all those music abilities 8D You know, gotta have good big ears to be in the music industry.
The technique for this one. I bet you'll never guess ;D I used a crapload of brushes. So many, in different shades and colors too. What a shocker. Like one of those shockingly sour candies, right? Anyway, aside from that, I also had to cut out Hyde's body from an image -___-;; Ugh, it was so annoying using that eraser tool so precisely ;__; And then after that, I saturated and contrasted Hyde's body like mad. Sometimes he looks too tan for my liking ;D Well, actually, I just needed him to match the color of the layout, that's all. I decided to use a huge textbox for this one, too, which is why this layout heavily depends on transparency abilities of people's browsers. I'm afraid it might not be compatible with every browser D: In the end, though, I really liked the result. But I don't know, the previous layout is still good, right? Maybe even more convenient than this one. At least it's a different style, right?
