This layout was inspired by the New World PV. That video is so amazing. And beautiful. And Hyde is such a hotass; such hot burning sex in this video that I almost had a heart attack 8D I'm not joking, either. And, no, I'm not old or unhealthy enough to have regular encounters with heart attacks. I really like the dark feel of the video; it's almost as though Hyde's being wannabe visual kei. Besides, the song is so amazing. The lyrics were written by Yukihiro (surprisingly, not in English and the parts which are in English actually make sense), while the music was a collaboration of Hyde's and Yuki's efforts. Definitely one of my favorite L'Arc~en~Ciel songs and videos. I could have New World on repeat for hours. So of course I had to screencap the life out of the video and make some kind of graphic tribute to it. Unfortunately, I'm not too proud of the results :\
This was my first attempt at a blend layout. Other than blending random screencaps together, I also over-blurred everything and abused my photoshop brushes to create a mess. Basically, it's just A LOT of dark green crapolla mixed together. Looking at it now, I feel embarassed and almost disgusted that I created such a thing. I really didin't know how to use any image blending techniques, and instead of actually blending correctly, I just erased most of the images and set them together like puzzle pieces. BIG MISTAKE. Oh well, there's a first for everything. Besides, at the time this layout was up, Winterfall was almost completely unknown ;D So at least not too many visitors had to experience its visual atrocity.
